Walkerville Business Lofts was a large scale renovation project that restored over 15,000 sq ft. of space in a 90-year-old structure. It was fitting then that we brand this venture as a loft, which gave the team feelings of SoHo and Long Island. After finding an art deco font style that we were looking for, we set out to hand illustrate the property with nothing but a sketch pad and an eye for design. After just one draft we took the drawing, stylized it to make it into vector line art, and added colour shades which are a signature part of the building. Each coloured awning represents the business that is found inside. The logo was adobted immediately and is currently in use.
